Film Reflections

The Indic Film Utsav 2021 Jury Board convened for a panel discussion to reflect on the films screened during the festival and announce the winners across four competitive categories: Best Feature Film, Best Documentary Film, Best Short Film and Best Ultrashort Film. The jury also announced Special Mentions.

The jury comprised:

• Ravi Gupta – Dean of Whistling Woods International, a leading film school in India
• Renata Keller – Independent filmmaker, dialogue facilitator and former CEO and Art Director of the German philosophical magazine Evolve
• Kireet Khurana – Filmmaker, storyteller and Indic Film Utsav 2020 alumnus and winner
• Pradeep Paga – Filmmaker known for pushing the boundaries of the medium

The panel was joined by the Indica Pictures team: Danji Thotapalli, Chief Curator and Festival Director; Nikita Hattangady, Head of Programming; Christian Frost, Head of Filmmaker Liaison; and Sumeet Borwankar, Head of Operations.
